Dad! Your presence is the greatest Adventure.
You are the ultimate guide. Building resilience in early school-age children. The Father & Son Great Adventure (ages 7–13) – Outdoor at Camp Vista
Hello Dad, We invite you and your son to an outdoor expedition #GreatAdventure #TatoNet at Camp Vista in Wisconsin!
Participating in this unique event is not just about active relaxation; it’s a form of "mini-survival," stepping out of the comfort zone (offline time), and a rite of passage for boys. It is a time to talk without haste, disconnected from daily chores. It’s an opportunity to minimize contact with civilization and build the father-child bond through effort, physical activity, and tackling new challenges together.

Here is the English translation, formatted for clarity and impact, keeping the adventurous tone of the original text.
GROUP – EARLY SCHOOL AGE (7 - 13 years old)
| 7 - 13 | This is the key moment to embark on the shared path of the Great Adventure. Why?
-
Role Models & Mimicry: Children at this age intensely imitate their fathers, building their own sense of agency based on his example.
-
Symbolic Thinking: Thanks to a developed imagination, a child experiences camping as a grand, formative adventure.
-
Developing Initiative: Shared tasks support the crucial transition from withdrawal to taking action.
-
Learning Cooperation: It is the ideal time to practice working within a group (especially with peers).
This is the age where playing together most effectively builds a bond, and a father’s presence provides the child with a sense of security while exploring the world.
Note: To ensure the right atmosphere, we accept a limited number of 12 duos. Participation is determined by the order of registration.
